You have entrusted me with your family and I am committed to provide the very best Kindermusik experience for you. . Here are some studios policies to get us started off on the right note.
In each class, highly researched and developmentally appropriate curriculum will be used. Class activates are not just about teaching music, but will help your child develop on all levels. Social and emotional skills, language and learning skills, gross and fine motor skills, cognitive skills and creativity are all focused on in our activities each week.
Classes will be held on a regular basis and on time. If I need to cancel class for any reason, I will let you know as soon as possible. If I have a scheduling conflict, I will let you know a least one week in advance. In the event of illness, emergencies, and weather related class cancelations, I will let you know as soon as possible. If I need to cancel class for any reason, a make-up class(es) will be provided.
Now that you have become part of the Kindermusik with Miss Krista family, I truly want you and your child to get the most out of our time together. A key aspect to getting the most out of our classes is consistency. This is especially important when it come to the use of your home materials and class attendance.
Kindermusik provides great materials and resources to use at home. They are fun, free and easy to use! Home materials enhance you and your child’s Kindermusik experience greatly.
Please come to class on time and do not leave early. This will allow you and the other families in class a constant and uninterrupted class experience. Studies show to get the most benefits from classes, regular attendance is crucial. However, this does not mean you or your child should come to class sick!
If you or your child is sick, please do not come to class. You need to be fever and/or drainage (vomiting, diarrhea, rash ect. ) free for a full 24 hours before attending class. Opportunities to make up missed classes will be provided (please note, make up classes may be at other locations on different days and times).
I take vigilance in keeping our classes safe, healthy and family friendly in every way. Classrooms are kept clean and safe, even for the youngest children. You can confidently take off your shoes and let you children explore without worry. Hand sanitizer and tissues are always on hand and our instruments and other supplies are cleaned and sanitized regularly. Family friendly bathrooms are nearby and nursing mothers are welcome to nurse anytime and anywhere they feel comfortable at our studio. Being family friendly is important to me and I strive to provide an experience that the whole family can enjoy.
Infants may attend other siblings classes in an infant carrier (car seat bucket, sling, frontpack, backpack, etc.), bouncy, saucer, or other such holder for babies. Parent must be fully available to participate with enrolled child. If you have two or more children, Kindermusik aged, you may want to look into taking an All Ages class.
